Mohamed Sadiq Wins His 4th Weigh-Off!
Dr. Mohamed Sadiq pulled out a dominant win in what was a very tough season for Utah Pumpkin Growers. The veteran Utah pumpkin grower came to Hee Haw Farms hoping for a new personal best and he was not disappointed. His pumpkin tipped the scales at a whopping 1905 pounds!
Sadiq's pumpkin, grown from the 2183.7 Mendi seed from Spain, beat his personal best grown in 2020 by 80 pounds. He brought his first pumpkin to a UGPG weigh-off in 2010 and it weighed in at 593 lbs.
Just 2 weeks later he broke the Utah State Record at the Nut Tree World Championship in Vacaville, CA, with another pumpkin weighing 2287 pounds! Congratulations to Sadiq on an amazing year in 2022!
